The NHSBSA is working on behalf of the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) to support Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered Adult Social Care providers in submitting monthly data about the services they provide.
Submitting your data
It is a requirement of the Health and Care Act 2022 that Adult Social Care providers must submit data regarding the NHS services they provide.
You must submit data via the Capacity Tracker between the 8th and 14th day of each month (or the next working day where the 14th falls on a weekend or public holiday).
Our Adult Social Care Enforcement team can provide support and guidance to help you.
Non-compliance
If you miss the data submission deadline on 3 consecutive months or any 4 months out of 12, you may be issued a Notice of Intent (NOI). We'll write to you to provide information and guidance on what you need to do to meet your contractual obligations.
After issuing an NOI, if you do not provide the data requested and do not have a reasonable explanation for not doing so, you may be issued a Final Penalty Notice.
For more information, read the Health and Care Act 2022: adult social care information provisions.
