This is an announcement on behalf of the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC).
The 2022 Pharmacy Access Scheme (PhAS) is one of the elements agreed as part of the agreement on Year 3 (2021 to 2022) of the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework 5-year deal.

Changes to the current PhAS
The current PhAS will end on 31 December 2021, with the reconciliation payment on 1 March 2022.
The 2022 PhAS will start on 1 January 2022 with payments for the 2022 PhAS made with the reconciliation payment from 1 April 2022.
Contractors can apply for review of their PhAS eligibility as set out in the guidance. The review application window for contractors to submit applications is between 04 January 2022 and 04 February 2022.
