If you’re a provider, you can apply for reimbursement of your 2024/25 business rates if you meet the qualifying conditions. You can check if you're eligible on Knowledge Base.
Before submitting your application, you need to review your property type. This can can be found on the council demand and by accessing the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) website. If you believe the premises type should be ‘surgery’ this can be revaluated by contacting the VOA.
Applications should be received within 3 months of the first business rates payment being due.

If you are unable to apply using Compass, email nhsbsa.dentalservices@nhsbsa.nhs.uk to request an application form.
Proof of payment must be submitted along with your application. Reimbursement payments will mirror how you have paid, such as lump sum or monthly.
