The payment industry has recently introduced Confirmation of Payee (CoP) which lets payers check the name of who they are paying before they pay them.
Banks check the name of the person or organisation given by the payer, against the actual name held on the account. CoP should significantly lower the risk of payments being misdirected either by accident, scams or fraud.
To prevent any delays in receiving your monthly payments, log in to Compass and ensure your bank details are correct. The bank account name field should contain the name on your actual account and not the name of the bank you use.
