NHSBSA release NHS Pharmacy First clinical pathways data for February - May 2024

The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) has published the latest figures for NHS Pharmacy First clinical pathways between February and May 2024.

This follows the previous release of the February to April 2024 clinical pathways data.

The service, which launched on 31 January 2024, allows community pharmacies to offer advice to patients and supply NHS medicines (where clinically appropriate) to treat seven common health conditions without a prescription from a GP.

The breakdown of all claimed consultations, the number of community pharmacies claiming for NHS Pharmacy First Service, and the average number of consultations per pharmacy for each month is as follows:
