We’ve updated the guide to reflect this change, and it is available on the Pensions Online (POL) page of the Employer hub (number 27 - NHS Pensions Online AW8 - Retirement benefits claim form).
When you submit an application, there will be the option to select Partial Retirement and then a further reason of Age or ARER. The last day of service for a partial retirement should be the last update.
Once you’ve submitted an application for partial retirement, you need to email the partial retirement supplementary form to polia3@nhsbsa.nhs.uk. The partial retirement supplementary form is available on the Employer forms page of the Employer hub on our website under 'Retirement'.
