In anticipation of the expansion of the NHS New Medicine Service to introduce depression as a further therapeutic area for which patients can receive support, NHS England will publish an updated service specification on Monday 20 October 2025.
This service specification is not valid until the service commencement date for this enhancement is announced and authorised by NHS England. Contractors can find the old service specification on this page.
