National NHS Right Care Medicines Optimisation Conferences (London & Manchester)
NHS England and NHS RightCare will be running two full day Medicines Optimisation conferences aimed primarily for Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG) Medicines Optimisation (MO) leads. These events are supported by Royal Pharmaceutical Society, Primary Care Pharmacists Association (PCPA), Pharmaceutical Advisers Group (PAG), National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Association (ABPI).
There will be two identical conferences one in London on 23 March and one in Manchester on 7 April. Venues to be confirmed. Once you have registered for the location of your choice (links below), you will be notified of venue and provided with agenda and pre-reading.
At the conference, CCG MO leads will have the opportunity to find out more about the NHS RightCare philosophy and vision and discuss how their expertise will be vital to ensuring that the seven elements of MO are fully integrated into the delivery of local NHS RightCare plans. The conference will feature talks from Professor Muir Gray, Professor Matthew Cripps and Dr Keith Ridge/Dr Bruce Warner. CCG MO leads will have an opportunity to discuss the NHS RightCare Data packs and focus on practical ways of incorporating MO effectively into local plans.
It is important that all CCGs have an opportunity to attend this conference. Places are limited and preference will be given to CCG MO Leads. Others are welcome to register but please be advised that your registration could be cancelled. As much notice as possible will be given should this be the case.
