We've supported NHSBT by sending text messages to over 65,000 people which directed them to a link where they could volunteer to donate. In the first two days, over 10,000 people signed up as potential donors.
We're also sending text messages to anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 through the national testing programme. The text messages are sent 21 days after their results.
