We are aware of an error on NHS Pension Scheme members’ 2023/24 Pension Saving Statements (PSS) issued to a small number of members. This means the Pension Input Amount figure stated on your PSS is lower than it should be. If you have not received a 2023/24 PSS, you are not affected by this issue. We will not issue any further 2023/24 PSS until this issue is resolved.
We sincerely apologise for this mistake and for any inconvenience it might cause. We are in the process of rectifying the situation. Once the issue has been resolved, we will reissue 2023/24 PSS for all affected members.
We have sent letters directly to all affected members this week and will issue further updates to members no later than Friday 24 January, including when to expect a corrected 2023/24 PSS.
You do not need to contact us if you think you are affected. We will contact all affected members directly as soon as we are able. We will automatically reissue all members a corrected 2023/24 PSS.
If you have not already completed your Self Assessment, you must submit an estimate using provisional figures before the 31 January deadline. Once you have received your updated 2023/24 PSS, you can then amend your Self Assessment within 12 months without incurring a late filing penalty.
