Working with a range of NHS organisations, we've helped to identify people who are at particular risk from coronavirus and need extra shielding arrangements.
Clinicians from NHS England and Innovation, NHS Digital and Public Health England defined the criteria and used our prescription data to help with this.
We were responsible for developing an SMS text messaging service which allowed us to quickly and safely contact the at-risk patients.
Since 23 March we've sent over 15 million text messages to around 1 million of the most vulnerable people in society.
Informing at-risk patients by text has received positive feedback and proved vital in reducing pressure on the NHS.
