Following the UK Government announcement on 17 August 2022, payments can now be made to estates or authorised representatives of people registered on the scheme who died between the announcement date of 17 August 2022, and the payment date of 28 October 2022 only.
We’ve contacted all eligible estates and authorised representatives for this date range to arrange payment. The NHS Business Services Authority is working closely with the Department of Health and Social Care regarding the recommendations made. We’ll update our website with further information as soon as this is available.
