The eDEN system is available only to those who have registered for an account.
Prospective users must choose the relevant account type required from the selection available below. It is important that users read the information and requirements before applying to access eDEN.
eDEN Account Types
Commissioner Access
This account will give you access to eDEN dashboards providing national information for all organisations at both 'Commissioner' and 'Contract' levels.
'Commissioner' level - a summary of general and orthodontic commissioned NHS dental contracts and their delivery of services for the current year.
'Contract' level - a detailed view of individual NHS dental contract performance.
Anyone working under Integrated Care Boards (ICB), Welsh Health Boards or approved NHS organisations can register.
Provider Access
This account will give you access to eDEN dashboard providing information for all requested contracts under the provider.
'Contract' level - detailed view of the individual NHS dental contract performance for NHS dental contract(s) under your provider, including the best aspects of the Year End reports.
Individual provider organisations can register.
Practice Manager Access
This account will give you access to eDEN dashboard providing information for all requested contracts under the provider.
'Contract' level - detailed view of the individual NHS dental contract performance for NHS dental contract(s) under your provider, including the best aspects of the Year End reports.
Practice Managers for the nominated dental practices under a provider organisation can register.
To gain access to this account type, you are required to provide details of the authorising provider who will receive a copy of your account application.
Who can register
The following types of organisations can register for access to eDEN:
- NHS England ICBS - Commissioner Access
- Welsh Health Boards - Commissioner Access
- Dental Providers - Provider Access or Practice Access
- Practice Managers - Practice Access
- National Organisations that can provide a valid reason/justification for requiring access to view the data - Commissioner Access
Access to eDEN is not available to English corporate providers at this time.
User Retention Policy
After 6 months of no activity, your access will be automatically revoked.
Once your account has been revoked, you'll need to re-register for access to eDEN.
